Process

Typically, weather and vehicles damage small areas causing asphalt damage or deterioration. If not fixed in time, it can spread and cause large potholes and cracks, which lead to foundation failures.  Mid Atlantic Asphalt can repair cracks in asphalt pavement, which will prevent these small issues from become large problems requiring a more expensive solution. Our work on the delineated area includes saw cutting or milling, while correcting any sub base failures. Then the area is repaired with new asphalt.  The surface is rolled to provide a smooth transition to avoid trip hazards, particularly around drains, sidewalks and gutters.  Skin patching can also be done in areas where the surface is uneven to keep the area safe and more comfortable for walking or driving on.

Repairing damage as it appears can be far less expensive than delaying the inevitable.  If the asphalt damage is not corrected in time, you may find that the damaged areas become too great to be repaired and the entire surface may have to be replaced, which is more expensive. Don’t delay your asphalt repairs any longer; contact one of our specialist for a free analysis.
